It's incredible, I'm speechless

While I love A Crow I found it difficult to listen to, this is every bit as much but feels more like a "song" than some of those did if that makes sense, I see myself going back to this way more. Early AOTY contender

 

Glad he's following up so quickly. Really interested to see how this will sound- 6 tracks and over 43 minutes of music

 

Can’t wait for him to release the track where he name drops Father John Misty and Weyes Blood.

 

That whole track about his experience at Arcosanti and Skrillex is amazing, can’t wait to hear the recorded version

questions: I have only one question, do you ever feel as those you are being exploited by media and publications, or that certain media outlets are using you and your personal tragedy to get views? or do you think that there is a sort of symbiotic relationship (perhaps even a little parasitic) between getting attention for upcoming albums and giving attention to certain music journalist?

Phil: woah, heavy. But yes true. It is a symbiotic parasitic relationship. Inserting real grief and feeling into this piranha tank of attention and money is super weird to do, but I did it. And it's not that different than any other kind of artistic expression that gets presented in public for money. It's perverse, but it's what we do. Co-exploitation. It's nasty in alot of ways, but I can live through it by focusing on the human elements that survive the process, the ways we can touch each other and help lives tangibly. The economy of attention is an increasingly gross world, but I am not keeping these songs a secret so I wade in.

Yep, same here. Really hoping that these ship out as early as possible to maybe arrive around the release date, pretty sure that was the case for “A Crow” and for “Sauna” at least.
