And you'd think now with the cost-cap rules that they'd find themselves closer to the front, but alas
I'm hoping that the fact that so many drivers are up for new contracts at the end of the season it'll add to some of the on-track drama as people vie for attention/points. I find the Christian Horner drama exhausting. All these schemers think they're in Game of Thrones when they are all actually Brad Pitt in Burn After Reading.
Really thought the NASCAR race at Bristol was going to be a snoozefest as this car doesn't perform well on short tracks. But the race was really entertaining. A lot had to do with the massive amount of tire wear. It produced 54 lead changes.
It was so chaotic. It’s wild that the tire was the same compound as a previous Bristol race but somehow it wore like crazy this time around
Good chance Vettel will be doing LeMans this year in a Porsche 963 - news just keeps getting better Vettel to Test Penske Porsche 963 at Aragon – Sportscar365
It took max going out 3 laps into the race for them to not win a race and not even finish on the podium. regardless f1 is still trash in its current state
Did anyone watch the IndyCar "all-star race" at Thermal? What a disappointment. The on-track product and strategy was awful. Almost as bad as NBC reminding all of the viewers that we are poor and would never be allowed to step foot there.
Yeah I watched; pretty poor product overall. There was more talk about Herta's crazy "purposely drive slow in first half of race" strategy, than the racing product itself. Can't remember much of any passing going on. From a driver's perspective it looked like a fun track, but from a fan's perspective absolutely not a great experience. Almost no elevation change, just like Utah. Hopefully this is just a one-year deal. Even the Nascar race at COTA was more interesting than Indy's race.
The one I didn't watch because ESPN's Instagram account spoiled it for me just after I woke up. So then I just went on to do other things in the morning.
Even if Lando hadn’t gotten extremely lucky with the timing of the caution, he probably would have caught Max’s car anyways
