It's truly pathetic; I unfollowed their Instagram account because of it. I hope they finish at the back of the grid every race this season
It is a shocking name. Just 3 unrelated brands in a row. I would assume it's going to have an ugly as sin livery too, but you'll have the Red Bull branding as the underpinning and then they have to plaster both Visa and Cashapp on it.
Leclerc signed an extension with Ferrari. The length wasn’t announced but it’s expected to be 5 years
Wonder what conspired behind the scenes to make a driver want to split like that, before the end of his contract
It’s crazy. Defending champion too. V8 Supercars is in a bad place if they lose SVG and Brodie now too.
Really embarrassing decision. The reasons they gave are such a pathetic cover for "We don't want to split the money 11 ways." I look forward to Haas folding and F1 begging Andretti to join.
Wild Lewis Hamilton set to make shock switch to Ferrari in F1 2025 The factors involved in Hamilton’s poised sensational F1 switch to Ferrari
To me its a no-brainer move to make; he's approaching the end of his career, and I would assume almost every driver would want to drive for Ferrari at some point in their career, and Ferrari seem like the next best team behind Red Bull for now, so it would make total sense to make the switch.
It's now been confirmed - "Mercedes employees in Brackley have been told that Lewis Hamilton will be leaving at the end of the 2024 season" "Ferrari’s share price has jumped 6% today - on a market cap of 66 billion, his news is worth $4 billion"
I understand the move from Hamilton's perspective entirely. I'm not sure how sensible this is for Ferrari (unless they think he's going to beat them into shape) and I really don't get the timing of the announcement. Surely both Merc and Ferrari are now going to be really unsettled this season?
