Fantastic IMSA race at Lime Rock today

 

McLaren in 2nd and 3rd I AM IN TEARS YES!!!

 

Both Alpines DNF'd on the first lap and Danny Ric seemingly got squashed by Zhou and an Alpine. Zhou properly fucked that.

Only a 5 second penalty for Zhou seems incredibly lenient.

 

Ferrari doing Ferrari things and keeping Sainz on softs stuck behind Leclerc.

 

Oh look, Max is leading again

 

McLaren improving is great to see. Shame it comes at a time when Max is untouchable.

 

Sucks the cost cap has seemingly had no effect on bringing the rear of the field any closer to the front

 

Red Bull even have the pit stops back under 2 seconds lol.

 

Leader of the F2 race just had to retire on lap 3 because his headrest flew off and they didn’t have a spare lol. Never seen that before.

 

Max is properly dunking on Checo during this race.

 

Man, it genuinely feels like Max really hates Checo.

 

As someone who goes to Laguna Seca every year I'm excited for the schedule change.

Laguna Seca is gorgeous early in the year before all the green goes away, so early in the year will be great, plus it’s such a big track that the crowd gets spread out and comes across as kinda sleepy.

They have to be banking on Nashville having more energy/excitement surrounding it.

 

Feel so bad for Danny Ric. But a massive chance for Lawson.

 

Also, Albon P3 seemingly on rough merit in FP2 is WILD. LFG.
