I don't think that was solely his fault though, to be fair. Just bad timing all around. Cars look bunched up all through practice.
I'm still shocked Haas has made zero driver changes. It's nice to see Gasly do this well after disappointing with Red Bull proper. I'm happy for him
That Grosjean has held on so long is totally beyond me. Magnusson in a reasonable car will bring home midfield points. Grosjean is more likely to finish the end of the race on a scooter, with some flowers and apology. Long past his sell by date.
I caught up with the F2 Feature Race last night, another great race worth watching if you have a chance.
I haven't got a lot of hope for today. The midfield battle has at least been a fun distraction at tracks where the race for the lead wasn't up to much, but Cataluyna has never been one for good wheel to wheel racing. Fear this might be a sleepy one.
Yeah this might not be great, but hearing the drivers saying how hard this might be on them makes me think we could see some mistakes. Just hoping Max and Alex bring it today.
Lewis has walked that one. Unless he misses races because of Covid, I can't see anyone catching him now. Good results for the Racing Points and Sainz. Bit bleh otherwise. Renault are shite. How do you have that budget, those drivers and be that poor?
Man Vettel really was superb today. 37 laps on the softs with Ferrari fucking up the strategy. Vettel deserved those points, Ferrari didn’t.
Red Bull and Ferrari absolutely fucked the strategy this week. Albon was absolutely hung out to dry by his team.
Ferrari have just stopped giving a shit with Vettel. How is anyone meant to work with that sort of nonsense?
That doesn’t even have Vettel asking the strategist if he should go to the end 3 or 4 laps before. I feel awful for him. He’s not been on top form this season but when that’s the support you’re getting how can you expect him to be.
