F1 is what it’s been 90% of the time. One team hits on the car and runs away with it. Lewis/Max title fight is the exception not the norm for F1.
Coulthard: New York’s F1 ‘Eau Rouge rival’ would be “perfect” “We tried to get a race in New York several years ago at Weehawken,” said Coulthard. “I remember running in one of the Red Bull show cars. I drove part of the section of track in the F1 car and it was unbelievable. “Opposite Manhattan, there was a section that made Eau Rouge at Spa look like kids’ stuff! If they ever were able to reignite that plan right there, I think that would be the perfect place.”
Nurburgring 24 Hours this weekend was fantastic; some incredible racing throughout the whole thing. Amazing to see a non-German car win it (Ferrari 296 GTB) for the first time since 2002, when the Zakspeed Viper won it
Has the qualifying for the Indy 500 always been on a different weekend? That’s such an odd way of doing it.
Yeah, it’s been that way for a while. Indy 500 is their biggest race so they make it basically a two week event with practice/qualifying.
Just looking into some history of it, appears that qualifying has always been held on a different weekend to the race. Guessing because it's individual time trials?
I like that they do these one off liveries for Monaco, should be standard for all the teams to do it at Monaco.
Monaco was a snooze fest, per usual Hopefully this Indy race has some excitement/an unexpected winner
Also, new downtown Detroit Indycar track looks trash; super bumpy and narrow, which will leads to more caution laps than green flag laps on Sunday. Oooffff
Yeah I’m not even going this year after going for the last like 5/6 Belle Isle races. Super annoyed they moved it.
Removing the final chicane here is the best thing that’s happened this season. Love this track and love this layout
