Albono and Sargent would be a decent team. If Piastri does end up at McLaren they'll have two amazingly talented young drivers for the next couple of years.
Honestly probably never should’ve left Renault/Alpine. That team had all the faith in him, designed the car to his liking, and we’re making good strides.
I wonder, if Alpine loses their fight to keep Piastri, they'd be willing to take Ricciardo back. Or I wonder if Alfa Romeo would be down to getting him
Doesn’t Ricciardo have an option for next season? I assume this means McLaren will buy him out. Danny hasn’t really shown up this season but he’s been given a bad hand all year by McLaren. Consistently worse strategy than Lando and Lando has gotten the favouritism. It makes sense given Lando’s form but it will be very interesting in future if Piastri hits the ground running.
There’s no fight. Piastri is gone, FIA already ruled that Alpine has no standing contract to bring him in. Danny back to Alpine makes the most sense and would be best for him and Alpine.
Nashville is a crazy race for Indy car. Only 13 cars finished today and 11 were on the lead lap. So many cations again like last year
It was an embarrassing race to watch. Nashville is a terrible track and those last two races there show that.
Yeah, both Nashville races have been train wrecks. Edit: but also… Newgarden lost his mind yesterday between this move, the post race interview, then hopping on Twitter and arguing with fans.
Yeah the guy sounds like a dick. Drive someone into a wall and then pull some typical macho bullshit lol.
Grosjean has been super aggressive since coming over and it’s pissed a lot of the regular indycar guys off. It’s been great to watch play out lol
I saw Grosjean's video (on his Youtube) and he made some really nice moves on that track. Can see why he was a bit pissed off to be considered the aggressive one after he makes a bunch of clean moves and then someone plants him in the wall. Of course, I imagine his video didn't show any shit moves he did too.
