The Haas cars for a bit suicidal at the end... The podium celebration is such a mess. Also, for a track with all this hype, it looks absolutely shit during the race and the racing was near non-existent too. Glad we've got 9 more...
Gutted for Mick and of course for Seb, but Alex once again has really excelled. If Tsunoda doesn’t pick up I can see them eyeing him for next year.
I haven't seen any analysis on it (they didn't replay it much on Sky because Leclerc and Max were at it), but was it not Mick who caused that incident? Couldn't tell with any certainty, but looked a bit of a divebomb. Also, did they forget to censor Seb's radio message in relation to that one?
Yeah i think it was a little dive bomby, but also Seb probably should have seen him. 70% Mick for me, but i’m still gutted cause he was on for 8th/9th place.
It was similar to the Magnussen/Stroll contact. I initially thought it was the two Aston's fault but on replay neither Haas was making the apex of the respective turns and the Aston's turned in.
Anyone else feel Bottas chucked away a good shout for driver of the day when he decided to go get a closer view of the wall near the end? He was having a brilliant race until he did that. I suspect the SC would have ruined his day regardless, but that was a naff mistake.
Yeah that turn caught out so many drivers. Leclerc, Perez, Sainz, Bottas, Magnussen, Ricciardo, Vettel all had an issue there from what i remember.
Favourite moments were him quite audibly putting down the influencer guy and then getting the wrong tall bloke, thinking he was an athlete.
I went for a piss at that point and my girlfriend was trying to update me on anyone he was interviewing (she knew almost none of them). She shouted “some guy called Patrick mahone”, so i rushed in and thought “who the fuck is that?”
Red Bull are doing a fantastic job at making this season exciting. DRS only working every second lap haha.
Can't remember last time Spain was this interesting. Alonso's 2013 win maybe? Have Red Bull just sacked their QA department? Also, these cars look so good on a big, old style track like this.
