Bloody Williams putting yellow flags out right as Charles was positioned to have a crack. Can someone tell them they aren't the stars of the show please?
Lando being absolutely hilarious but perhaps a bit harsh in his post race interviews. Worth watching the one below for some spicy comments. https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/tpr60g/an_extremely_honest_lando_norris_post_race/
Although a shit location for a track, it's a brilliant move from a PR perspective Las Vegas to host F1 race from 2023
I think the track would be shit no matter which streets they chose in the downtown area. The fact it'll use a portion of the strip itself is pretty amazing though, from a fan and engagement perspective. The casinos and hotels will absolutely love this event
It'll look fantastic tbf, and I'd absolutely go if it didn't likely cost about 10k including flights from here. Street tracks are obviously difficult to plan, so I'll reserve judgement for now. Will be weird to have it at that time but I guess it's no different from Australia for me.
This is cool. Looking at what will become the track. Wish they went into some of the turns though cause at the end of the strip appears to be something reminiscent of the old singapore sling corner which was a crazy hard corner that really punished drivers.
Latifi trying to bring out a red flag every single weekend this season huh? (it wasn't his fault but no one else here will say that lol)
Safety cars are kind of hiding how good Ferrari look today. This would have been an absolute demolition so far without them. Also, Lance really is a donkey.
Very strange strategy from Williams for Albon, but it seems to have worked. Good results for Merc and McLaren. The safety car really is not favouring Hamilton at the moment. Curious to see what Merc can do when they bring some updates for this car. Apparently it's still the same spec as Bahrain.
Wow Albon! So happy for my boy. He had legit pace too, he was lapping as fast as McLarens and Alpines on newer tyres before pitting. Also very happy for the McLarens double point finish.
Great race, Leclerc and Albon were incredible today. So happy to see Daniel do well at home, too. Wish I could’ve been there buy tickets sold out way ahead of time - amazing to see over 120,000 people at the track after the trauma of multiple soul-sucking lockdowns in Melbourne
I hope it's the season opener again, as a venue it's so brilliant and it feels like more of an event than Bahrain.
season seems like a formality at this stage. i know it's a long season but damn, they look way out in front.
