Was in 15th for a second, now back to 16th

That’s genuinely shocking. I do wonder if the situation yesterday is affecting him. He was apparently doing a lot of talking in the drivers meeting.

 

So strange. He’s been faster than Russell in practice, but then this happens.

 

Hamilton being out in Q1 is shocking enough as it is, but being so far off from Russell is stunning

No replay and wide distant shots of the car is making me very nervous.

 

That’s exactly why I hate this track. Death trap.

 

They’re at least saying that he’s conscious and talking to officials which is good… but yeah this is worrying

 

Luckily, they're building a purpose-built track farther into the country, which should be ready I think in a few years

 

I think Lewis' mindset is just off this weekend, affecting his performance

 

Lewis looked absolutely shellshocked there.

 

He just seemed like he didn't really want to be there this weekend

 

He's been saying stuff in the press though that they can affect change and put pressure on by being there though, so I'm not sure how distracted he would be. No idea how worried they really feel about their safety. I certainly wouldn't be feeling convinced.

 

I don’t think Pietro can run in the race tomorrow without appearing in one of the other sessions over the weekend

 

Gunter has just suggested that they might not bother building another car regardless.

 

Lewis might change everything with the car and just start from pit lane tomorrow

 

The RB and Ferrari really are head and shoulders above the rest.
