They go where the money is, unfortunately Qatar track in particular provides almost no passing, from the races I've seen there. It's really only the front straight where they'll have any hope of passing somebody
That’s nightmare scenario for Mercedes. He’d have a penalty for both the sprint and the race now too because he took a new engine. Yeesh.
So people in my work chat are talking about this, and seem to think Lewis will be disqualified from qualifying, and start the sprint race from the pit lane. Huge for the championship, say he gets up to 12th or so, he’d still start 17th for the main race
Hamilton starts last in the sprint, and has a 5 place penalty for the race. God, it’s getting clearer and clearer that the Sprint in its current format is a terrible idea
Bottas wins, Ham 5th (will start 10th), Perez really struggled there. Can’t see anything but a podium for Hamilton tomorrow. Possibly a win if he has a start like that and Bottas and Verstappen don’t pull away
Verstappen slammed Hamilton wide there. jesus. looks a good call to me, Hamilton's got this unless Verstappen takes him out.
No investigation necessary. That’s interesting. Would love to see the angle showing the steering wheel
I don't understand how Max has got away with that one. It's one thing to force another car to the outside, but going a couple of car widths off the road to do it seems remarkable.
Great move by Hamilton. I’d say Bottas will take 2nd. Man, I’d love if the new regs make DRS unneeded
Dramatic weekend for Hamilton. Final three races are going to be nail biters if Merc carry a slight pace advantage in them all. Still looks like Max's to lose now though.
I think Qatar and Saudi Arabia are Hamilton's to lose to be honest. They both seem to suit the Mercedes more.
I don’t really care about who wins the title, but that Mercedes straight line pace is suspicious to me considering their high downforce setup.
Hamilton under investigation for undoing his seatbelt to collect the Brazilian flag at the end of the race.
