Sad they stood together for the first time in different team colours. :(

Was an incredible 500. So happy for Helio.

 

Mercedes absolutely nowhere in practice, not even in the top 10...

lewis pole by .3 incoming.

 

What a mess in qualifying. 4 red flags, Leclerc gets pole because Tsunoda and Sainz crash out

 

Well that was chaotic. Situation has worked terribly for Perez and Bottas.

 

When was the last time 5 cars crashed out on qualifying?

 

How were none of them Mazepin??

 

I do wonder with the red flag rules in quali whether they should allow the cars who were on flyers to go out and go again or give everyone's other shot. Seems harsh to end the session with 90 seconds left.

 

I think if you cause a red flag you should drop to the back of that section of qualifying. The fact Norris got a penalty by Ricciardo, Sainz and Tsunoda didn't is mad.

 

How many safety car’s are we expecting? lol

 

Stroll stays out so long for a safety car, and is the one that causes it. Hope he’s ok.

 

Verstappen crashes out from 1st. Ah ffs. It was so casual for him.

 

Pirelli fuck up? Two rear left failures.

Race red flagged with 3 laps left

 

Hamilton fucking up on the restart was wild. Him and Max leave with no points.

 

I turned off the race after the Merc pitstop, went and done other stuff, looks like I missed some drama.

 

WOW can’t believe Hamilton fucked up the restart. There was no need to go that hard for it. The second place would have been fantastic for him.

 

Might be overshadowed by the entertainment today. But what is up with Bottas? He’s having a horrid season

 

Missed the race but very happy with this result. Seems like it was a fun day!
