Mazepin is a prick.

 

Mazepin is a fast driver but he’s like if Magnussen was on steroids. Defends like his life depends on it and will happy ram you into a wall.

I suspect he’ll get a ban at some point next year, but generally be pretty competitive (car willing).

 

I can see him being incredibly unpopular on the grid next year if he defends like that next year.

 

He’s going to make boneheaded moves and it’s gonna piss people off. Can’t stand him

What a race. Probably my favourite I’ve watched this year. Feel a lot for Ilott. Pushing hard against some fantastic defending by Schumacher, but his tyres were gone by the time he finally got past. Tsunoda really is brilliant isn’t he? Managed to get second place in the end.

 

In fairness on those, apart from the first one, are any of them especially late moves? He sees someone trying to take him on the right and moves consistently to that side. He's not weaving from side to side or anything. I guess a couple of them there is a bit of an overlap between the back of his car and the front of the one behind, but it's not like he's doing anything unpredictable. The driver behind doesn't have to drive into a vanishing wedge of track. In fact, in the fourth one, Mazepin has already gone to the right of the track before Drugovich moves that way, he could have gone left and left Mazepin stranded on the worse line.
