I'm torn. Delighted for Albon, gutted for Russell. He really needs to work on his starts. Always pretty bad at them and they ruined him today.

 

Yeah if Alex improves his starts, which I remember Lewis having to do a few years back, he can challenge a little more. He was fast today but kept losing places at the restarts.

Didn’t know this thread existed, past 2 weeks have been wild and so much fun!

I’m more of an IndyCar fan but I’ve been getting even more into F1 since the Netflix series came about.

 

I've never watched Indy but I'd be interested to give it a go and see.

 

Albon 1.2 seconds off Max's time and qualifies behind Gasly as well. Ouch.

 

Messy start. Lewis is going to have a tough time winning this starting on those soft tyres.

Stewards have decided to take Lewis out of the race.

 

Such a dumb thing to get a penalty for. Doesn't make sense why Hamilton even done that.

 

Yeah, not sure why he or the team did it. Even less sure why they did it twice. It's annoying that something outside the race is being used to dish out time penalties in it though. Give him penalty points on his license or a fine or something. It's robbed us of a race.
