Knew after Quali was chaos that the race would be tedious lol. Great for Williams & Carlos though. Albon will be cursing that mistake in qualifying.
Lando had his best chance to reduce the points lead today and it barely changed lol pit stop didn’t help him but that’s rough
Mclaren really need to sort their pit stops out. You don't see the other big teams (or even the smaller ones, tbf) having so many sluggish stops. At a race like yesterday, where nobody could overtake, that was just a disaster.
Max jumped into GT3 at the Nurburgring, was left out on the wrong tyres for too long, and still qualified third lol. Kind of hope that when he gets bored of F1, he just goes around winning everything possible.
Leading on the opening lap, but yet to pull away Live stream https://www.youtube.com/live/Powr0GrlUAE?si=Xq6uydowMQ9PTkTh
His 7:51.5 race lap today is just off the NLS race lap record, a 7:49.5 set by Christian Krognes in a BMW M4 GT3 in 2022.
This is crazy. Kalle turns up, dominates WRC and becomes the youngest champion ever, wins again and then dips out immediately. He’s doing a year in Japanese Super Formula, then going into F2 in 2027 with the aim of joining F1. And given his relationship with Toyota, Haas seems a likely destination. If he pulls it off, it will be crazy, but obviously it’s a very different discipline.
