Really good song. What a nice surprise. Curious to hear the story behind this (new song, bside, band back together?).

 

Man. I am so here for this.

 

All I know is they've been talking and working together on various things, Tony helped out doing drums on new solo stuff for Justin, and they've been thinking about doing a stream for MCS and stuff like that so it's not out of the realm of possibility for there to be a new few songs coming out.

I think the idea of an EP is not far fetched, but an album doesn't seem like something they'd attempt right now.

Also, the band is "back together" but they aren't really back to old MCS like doing the typical tour, album release cycle. Just whenever they feel like doing something together, they will. That's what I remember Justin or Josh saying.

I think that's probably the best and healthiest right now too. With all this craziness, managing families, various projects and everything else, I can only imagine what it would be like trying to do all of that again. I feel like I've seen a few bands lately that have started doing away with the standard band routine and adopting a more "let's just record music and release it and figure it out from there" mentality.

 

I knew Josh worked with Justin on In The Drink and Tony was working on with Justin on the first batch of songs for LP2.

Just didn’t expect a new original song. I know they did some stuff for tribute albums which is very cool, but getting new singles, bsides, EP’s, covers or whatever is all good. Plus Justin will eventual have a second solo album. That’s some good news.

 

Song is great. Excited to get something from this band after seeing their “Comeback” Tour.

Well, they've said they've been running ideas around ever since the comeback tour. So I don't think we'll see full albums, but definitely some stuff.

 

Expectations were high based on y’alls response but this manages to exceed them. I know at this point everything they do is a bonus and a gift but between the song and the tour I am suddenly not over the break up anymore
