MCS is one of the musical staples of my life. Even though sometimes I go through periods where I don't listen to them a lot, their music was so influential and different that it will always be important to me. I could not be happier about this tour. They are also one of the only bands (for me) where I feel like every single member brings so much personality to the music that no member could be replaced (which is part of my reason for not liking PS as much).
That show was too good. I think about it ALL the time. And my mother always remembers being at the back bar and hearing me scream bloody murder when Justin started to introduce Timelines. Wish I had more video from that night.
This is such great news. I hope it’s a full blown reunion with new music, etc. Who will be drumming, I wonder?
I doubt it will be a full blown reunion, but I’d be pretty happy if it was. I’ve been listening to Panic Stations a lot recently, which isn’t as bad as I remember; I actually might like it more than Go.
Listening to their entire discography today to celebrate. Maybe I can finally get into Go and Panic Stations.
Even if it’s going to be a return to full time, there was no other choice for what to call this tour.
My guess is they will probably just keep going as long as people keep coming, but that they won’t function like a typical band. Sporadic shows, maybe a tour every free years. Possibly a new record, but probably not a typical album cycle. I think it’s just going to be basically them doing what feels right at the time.
Yeah I’m hoping for something like what Thursday did, but fingers crossed for more music too. I also can’t think about anything else. I won’t be able to breathe until all my tickets are acquired.
I'm watching the IATM doc right now and it's really bumming me out realizing how much time has passed.
Go is one of my favorite albums to listen to in the fall, actually. Not really a summertime album to me.
