I got the boxset from Discogs and I was kind of mad becuase it was missing the Cloak & Dagger book and I felt like it was incomplete (and I had lost mine a long time ago). But then my mom was doing some deep cleaning and came across it and I was so happy. Granted I think the box set one was signed, but I have the signed CD booklet for MDL, so I feel like it is truly complete now.

It's weird to me that they're out of 5k but are rarely posted online, feels like there should be more listings

I just described MCSs sound to someone as “The Good Life” by Weezer

CTTM and EIIKM are the two that matter really. Then MDL then everything else

That's funny because I always thought "Worker Bee" sounded like a Weezer song

I Am The Movie. I remember discovering this band via punknews.org when one of their writer described them as the best unsigned band.

I Am The Movie had been released and it was something totally fresh a new sounding. Months later, the got picked up by Epitaph (good signing) and re-resleased the album with some minor changes. It set up what MCS was sound was, and acted as the springboard to everything else.

It has all the things they do well, and continued to well for each album. It’s my favourite record of theirs because it was recklesss and brave, and the energy was so real and raw (I’m not suggesting that it ever stopped).

Everyone has there own reason for records being their favourite, but if your not giving this record a fair shot I’d say that’s an oversight.

IATM to MDL is a hell of a run. Four great albums.

I Am The Movie is probably in my top 5 records of all time, MDL and Commit This are easily top 20.

Their first four records are each special to me for a different reason and remind me of very specific memories and times in my life. Go too, to a lesser extent.

I like Go. I probably listen to Panic Stations and My Dinosaur Life the least of the six records we’ve mentioned. I can see why it can be different for other people though.

One of many signs of a good band is to have lots of people rank your favourite albums differently.

MDL is pathetically underrated. It’s so good, front to back.

Yeah it's not bad and there's some special moments on it. Overall it's much weaker than the rest of their output though imo.

Tony leaving hurt that album a lot. I never listen to it.
