My best advice is to use discogs.com. Add it to your wish list and you'll get an email notification if a copy becomes available. It'll cost a pretty penny (I paid $100 + $15 shipping), but that's the most reliable way I can think of to track it down.
I've seen two copies on ebay go for $200+ and that's realistically what I was going to pay. Thanks so much for the help.
Can't PM you as you limited who can contact you, but if you initiate a PM to me, I can provide email.
I'm waiting for the special edition of it to be honest, I imagine they'll do a similar treatment for it to CTTM and EIIKM.
That's just it - I don't think they can. All those other records were on Epitaph and they've got access to the songs. MDL was on Columbia and I think they still own it. That's the reason why you can buy every one but MDL fairly easily today.
Smh the MCS slander in the Kanye thread. I need to come to my safe space (this thread) MCS is one of the greatest of all time
I read that thread, definitely some offensively bad takes. I can understand where they're coming from with the PS complaints even if I don't agree, but otherwise....
People saying MDL is a bad album, that GO is terrible, and that Panic Station is boring. A few people saying EIIKM is bad too. Some real revisionism in that thread. Thinking any of their first four albums is below an 8 is intensely wrong.
go is such a sad record and it came out when i was also really sad so it's my favorite mcs record forever and boy is it NOT boring if you're emotionally connected to it
I do think Go can be seen as boring, but it's a great record and listening back, even songs I remember not being huge on are much better listening back now. I like it as a Spring record.
i completely get finding it boring but idk, something about the songwriting and production give it such depth to me
