Listened to Time Turned Fragile after I brought up Tony in the Brand New thread and that song is one of my favorite drum performances of all time.
I'd say I'm going to listen to it today to mark the occasion, but I still listen to it on a regular basis so it doesn't feel necessary. "Last Night" is my favourite MCS song.
Idk when but sometime I'd say in like the first few months it came out, I listened to it and it was one of the first times I listened to them and I thought Fell In Love Without You was the only good song because it was the only one that was upbeat. Lol @ myself what were you thinking
I wasn't a massive fan of EIIKM when it came out, I mostly put that down to the shitty quality leak I had of it for ages. I did end up enjoying it a lot more when I went back to after MDL came out. I'd say it's probably 4th in my ranking of Motion albums though.
incredible album. beautiful. one of the most candid looks at someone struggling with alcohol, love, mental health, and just general growing pains
Listened to Commit This To Memory on my way to work this morning, and it hit me like it was the first time I've ever listened, and that's how I know I'll never stop loving this band. If I can pretend, I don't depend, I can deny-deny-denial. Yet when push comes to shove, and all the above, I decide to live the lie.
Yea I was going to say the same. It's definitely partially because it came out in the summer and I saw them play those songs for the first time in the summer, but I consider it their most summer fitting album. I think most of their albums are best in the fall/winter, but of course I love them all year round.
I remember a lot of people shitting on Go when it originally came out (in the summer) because it wasn't peppy enough for those fans. I didn't immediately love it when it came out either though. It wasn't until I gave it another spin later in the fall when it really clicked with me. To me, it feels like a colder weather album.
