It just doesn't sound like a MCS song to me, and it's too sing-song of that makes sense. I do like it though
Huh, interesting! I don't think I've heard anyone here in the midwest say it haha. but hey, at least I learned something new!
I always though History Lesson sounded like something you'd here in an Irish Pub. And yea they're definitely both a little different, although I do think Worker Bee fits with the sound of that album, if not MCS in general.
i do too i actually swapped them out. I like the album version its got a real good bridge but the rock version just fits the album better imo.
alright i cant quite rank all the songs but heres my top 30 Hold Me Down Even If It Kills Me The Weakends Happy Anniversary Indoor Living LG FUAD I Can Feel You Disappear Time Turned Fragile When Youre Around Bottom Feeder The Conversation Autographs & Apologies Last Night Timelines Hangman Her Words Destroyed My Planet Worker Bee Together, We'll Ring In The New Year It Had To Be You Dont Call It A Comeback Pulp Fiction Make Out Kids Better Open The Door Floating Down The River Hello Helicopter The Future Freaks Me Out Broken Arrow Days Will Run Away Everything Is Alright
"Worker Bee" is one of my top 10 "I'm feeling really happy right now" songs of all time. It's also the song that helped get me back into MCS. Agreed with @CoffeeEyes17 that "Hold Me Down" is the best MCS song.
i was sad when i realized "Antonia" was about different people and not just one woman. Justin said in an interview there are even parts of it that are about Tony lol. great song, lower half of EIIKM for me though.
I don't know if I could rank all their songs, that's a tall order for any band. I'd also be putting the vast majority of IATM right at the bottom.
Agreed. Heartfelt, pop-culture laden, snarky, surprising. Everything good about Justin's lyrics all in one place.
She loves the smell of Christmas trees She sneezes when she sees bright lights She fainted on the kitchen floor When her father passed away Our baby girl is due this May And when the little lady grows up I hope that she will be just like her mother My favourite part.
Justin can balance being humorous and touching and dark so well. Shows that Smiths influence so well.
