Yea I didn't even have a record player when the album came out, so it's possible I got a later pressing, although it's still the blue variant. I just hope I didn't prematurely turn it off without waiting until the end

Maybe. People expect things differently haha. I look at it like "oh, I thought this was going to be bad based off what I heard ahead of time but it's not that bad."

Yea I guess it's because some people were already disappointed by Go, and then they hear lead singles to a new album that they don't enjoy either (arguably some of the worst songs in the bands career), and you're just gonna kind of mentally think "ok this band's done", listen to the album once, 2 songs stick out, and then the rest they just kind of skim over and don't bother going back to, but I definitely see your perspective and it's probably really just different from person to person.

 

I feel like this is the time to clarify, cus I'm honestly never sure if it comes across or not, but mattfreaksmeout = the future freaks me out. Started that as my twitter handle like freshman year of high school.

 

yeah i figured it was a reference to that when id seen you post earlier. it made me chuckle.

 

I keep expecting to come back to Commit This to Memory and have it feel like a nostalgia trip, but it just never happens. Always vital and fantastic.

this is actually very good jakob. now i have to work on mine. gdi.

 

I love most songs on that list and there's only like 5/6 that I don't like.

 

Man, you definitely hate "It's a Pleasure to Meet You" a lot more than I do. Haha

Is "Worker Bee" underrated?

Also "Calling All Cops" hate has always been silly.

 

Calling All Cops is great but it's definitely the weakest song on that album.

This Is For Real is my least favorite on that album. @ me.

 

That song is fantastic. Way better than Calling All Cops.

Where I Belong isn't great either.

 

I think I got sick of it cus they were playing it so much live in the end and there were other songs from EIIKM that I wanted to hear more.
