I love this band so so much, but goddamn, don't say "Big News Incoming" and have it be yet another anniversary tour.

Wondering if they are sitting on an EP's worth of songs and want to get a full LP going eventually.

 

I am personally excited about this news and that they're coming to SLC, especially to a venue that doesn't completely suck like they did last time.

Josh has gone on the record many times saying it's coming.

 

I mean if my city hadn't been on the initial IATM tour I'd be ecstatic. But as it is, this announcement doesn't apply to me. I also was hoping for more, but I shall be patient.

 

While I would love for new music to come - I’m willing to wait if it means the quality will be even higher.

I want something on the level of the first three records. It’s a tall order but here’s to hoping it can be done!

Going through MCS and man, even when I think I'm just kind of done with music I've listened to a billion times for decades now it still hits really hard.

I go through phases where I can't listen to stuff I've grown up on because it's just lost its spark, but there's always a point when I come back and I'm stunned at how good some of this stuff is. Disappear is just so fucking good.

 

Didi is hitting theaters in July. I don't know if Focus kept the MCS song in but I would be shocked if they changed it because of how well it fit

 

Idk if Tony Thaxton is back to being "full time" with the band, but I will be very obnoxious about how much I need Tony Thaxton to be on any future MCS records until I have confirmation.
