For a band who has exclusively toured with no new output for nearly 5 years, tour dates doesn’t exactly feel like “big news” to me.
I feel like their set won’t be long enough to play the album at Four Chord. Since I saw them play it in Cleveland in January, I was hoping for a normal set.
I know I said I wouldn't be disappointed and I'm not. But nor do I understand at all why expanding an already-existing tour is something to tease as any sort of announcement, big or otherwise. Why not just make the announcement?
They were recently in the studio, right? Does anyone know how long they were in for? I am desperate for new MCS music.
Yeah the second announcement is the tour dates, followed by a statement of their intention to continue touring indefinitely on only their first and second albums.
They were in the studio in Chicago for a few days in November. They already "released" their new song "Stop Talking" in the movie "Didi" but they have multiple songs coming out.
Outside of the WHERE IS MY CITY? comments, every IG comment is excited and positive, so the fans are still into it.
Unfortunately no. What I think happened was the plans got messed up with all the tour date rescheduling and wanting to add West Coast dates. I don't know that much, I know very little. I am still shocked "Stop Talking" isn't out yet.
