Also the song said it appeared courtesy of BoomBox Generation. Their song Crooked Ways and their album Go were both released by Boombox Generation (it was co-released with Epitaph).

So maybe they are releasing their new stuff under that, but all of Justin's solo stuff except his first Spotify song has all been with Epitaph so this could be a single that's not part of the future EP/album.

 

It's been days and this song is still stuck in my head. Bummed I can't actually listen to it anywhere.

I'm super excited for people to hear it.

 

Focus Features Buys Sundance Award Winner 'Didi'

The movie MCS' new song was in got picked up! Very exciting for all involved.

 

Been listening through their discography for the couple few days and they're just so damn good. Even the ones I don't love I still really like. Stoked to see them this summer. Hopefully we'll have some new tunes by then!

 

I will say now that the movie is done being shown at Sundance I'm surprised they didn't release "Stop Talking". Maybe they can't yet or they're waiting for a big release or something.

I'm pretty confident we will have something soon though.

Destroy All Neighbors

There's a movie called Destroy All Neighbors being shown and a band called You Can't Call Me Al (a Weird Al cover band) is playing with members of Motion City Soundtrack, The Matches and Blood Brothers.

 

Pretty sure Jonah Ray leads that cover band, yes?

 

I think so! He's also starring in the movie!

 

The movie is a ton of fun. Destroy All Neighbors, that is. It's like an Evil Dead version of Bill and Ted
