If it's on the level of MDL then it's a top three (maybe top 2?) MCS record for me, so yes, I would love that.
The only album of theirs I don't like is Panic Stations so as long as it's anything else I'm completely fine. Now that Tony is back behind the kit and some years have passed I think they'll make some absolute bangers.
Yeah, me and a few others have routinely stated that I Can Feel You and Days Will Run Away are bangers.
Panic Stations isn't nearly as bad as some people say, it's just not quite as good as the rest of the band's relatively stellar catalog.
While I kind of agree, it does have some of their absolute worst stuff like Lose Control which may actually be a top ten bad song by them
I liked Panic Stations. Definitely on the lower rankings, but still dig it. I also got it on vinyl at Urban Outfitters for $4.99 in their bargain bin, ha.
Damn that's a huge deal. I think I have all of their albums on vinyl? I need to double check. Their bandbox for CTTM was really nice.
Record gets way too much hate. Definitely not their best but there are some serious bangers on it. Anything at All, I Can Feel You, Pleasure to Meet You, massive hooks on Over It Now.
PS is their "worst" but it's still an album I love. I Can Feel You is a top 10 MCS song, but the back half of the album is underrated. It's a Pleasure To Meet You through Samurai Code is a great run of songs. The only ones I really don't care for are... pretty much all the singles besides Pleasure to Meet You. Everyone really loved Anything At All and I just never got it, and TKO and Lose Control are two of their weakest songs.
I don't like Pleasure to Meet You much. That, Over It Now and Lose Control are the three I don't like on there. The rest range from solid to really great.
I couldn't imagine CTTM being any different, but I get what you're saying. I really like Invisible Monsters, but one time I was playing the whole album all the way through, but apparently it was the deluxe version and it played after Hold Me Down and I was totally thrown thinking "no, this isn't how it's supposed to end!"
It's so good. The whole part where he's saying: If I can pretend, I don't depend I can deny, deny denial Yet when push comes to shove, and all the above I decide to live the lie Just wonderful
Woah, weird. I was just listening to the album recently and couldn't even find it by searching the song title.
Panic stations isn't bad it isn't good it's just mostly forgettable and sad (Tony). It says enough about that album that I need to be reminded what the good parts are because outside of the closer I just pretend it doesn't exist.
