Weird Al 4 times is my most Jimmy Eat World thrice (and Jim Adkins once) Foo Fighters and Bad Religion thrice
Motion city is definitely # 2 or 3. Number 1 is definitely say anything and I've also seen Bayside a ton too so hard to say.
Blink - 9 times, DGD - 7 times, Anberlin - 5 times, MCS only twice actually. Need to pump those numbers up! Give me a My Dino Life tour. Or at least some setlist nods to Go and Panic Stations.
I have a friend that lives in California and went to Santa Anna, San Diego, Atlanta, Nashville and both Philadelphia shows on the last TWY tour. Crazy!
My top two in terms of times seen is probably New Found Glory (definitely in the 30s, if not early 40s), 311, Foo Fighters and Weird Al. lol
Do you guys keep a tally somewhere? Crazy you guys know the exact amounts to me once it reaches more than a few lol
Yeah, during the pandemic I sat down and wrote out every concert I'd been to. And now I live in Montana so I'm not adding more than 5-6 a year.
I have google docs where I list every show I've ever been to, who played, and I'm working on adding the venue. I also have a list where I tally every artist I've seen and how many times. If there's two things I love, it's lists and data.
I definitely don't have the dates or venues on my list haha. Probably have missed a few openers over the years as well
I started keeping a note on my iphone several years ago with just the band name, and last year I had a little time off before starting a new job so I created a google doc and did the research for venue/exact dates and any other supporting acts I didn't initially remember.
I would love to try and put together a list. I've probably seen MCS 5 or so times. And my top is Green Day with 21 shows.
concertarchives.org Free to create an account and add shows. I used to do it on my phone, but this website is golden. Collects setlist data and other tidbits that are fun to see (how many states/venues you been to, etc)
I feel at this points it's too late to keep track of for me because I certainly don't remember all the shows. Kind of why I never made a goodreads
How old are ya'll? Or do you see a band at multiple dates on a tour? That's also wild to me, cause I won't drive further than NY (I'm in Philly) for a show.
