Damn the Citi presale is just for Live Nation and Starland Ballroom doesn't do ticketing through them nooooooooooooooo
These kinds of tours must truly make a ton of money, because goddamn how many times are they going to celebrate this album? I mean, I love it, too, and know that they'd make way more doing this than if they toured a new record. But I think they could still do pretty well if they actually made a record that was better than Panic Stations.

fingers crossed for an album next year and not just a one off song. I feel like it'll probably happen since Justin's latest EP was originally supposed to be a full length so I'm guessing he ditched that for MCS instead.
He didn't ditch that for MCS instead. He talked about it. COVID, his accident, surgery and recover and then other things stopped it from being what he wanted. He was really disappointed.
Based on Justin’s comments about how the folks that write songs in the band all have ideas but a tough time lining up schedules for new music, I would think the hope with this new tour and getting things arranged (prior to the announcement and the lead up to the tour) would be that more consistent communication eventually leads to talking about new music again. Realistically it probably won’t happen until tour where they are around one another and have sound checks to jam stuff out. Justin seemed confident it will happen, just a question of when.
I have no doubt new music is coming (more than just that one song they mentioned in the VIP package) but I'm unsure of how much more. It wouldn't be surprising to see an EP or multiple singles before anything else.
after years of admiring MCS but never actually ever seeing a show, I have tickets to this tour in Anaheim. If the Matches end up as special guests or participating in some capacity (which I'm hoping for), I will also obviously have to go to the SF show too.
¡Policia! - "A Tribute To The Police" Limited print of vinyl for this. Motion City did a song on this tribute. So did Fall Out Boy and Copeland.
I wonder if these guys will ever release a new album to go along with a tour? I'm seeing them on this run, and they're always a treat; but, I expect their next tours to continue being anniversary shows.
They’ve played shows though since hiatus. I want some more new music. It feels like it’s entirely possible.
Who knows. More likely an EP or something. I mean they're at least releasing one new song from this tour so at least we'll have that
