Still thinking about the fact that Tony Thaxton was uploading videos 6+ years ago, drumming along to MCS songs, and barely 1k people subscribed to his channel. Can't wait to hear this man cook throughout the new album.

 

Tony playing Warped Tour on Father's Day literally right after his father passed made me pretty emotional.

 

Not the strongest first impression I've had to a lead single from the band, but I'm still no way disappointed by this - it sounds like them through-and-through. Justin's vocal run at the end of the second verse is classic MCS.

I agree. I expected something a lot more mellow. I’m loving it.

 

I’m loving this. I see the vibes from Justin’s solo stuff. It is a slower song compared to anything from their first three albums, but I don’t mind it at all. I think the pace of the song is perfectly fine. Can’t wait to hear the rest!

 

Chorus needs a tag at the end each time, but we are super back.

This definitely feels like a Panic Stations track so that would make sense

 

With better production and the drummer that should be in the band this time

Fun severance inspired video. I dig the song but it definitely would fit on Panic Stations (as one of the best tracks)

Wasn't sold on the song but I've listened to it three times and it's already stuck in my head so that's a good sign haha.

 

I do really hope the rest of the album is much less like Panic Stations though

 

That guitar riff sounds so El Scorcho'esque that it's a bit distracting. I think it will grow on me, though.
