Also, there's a video of Justin reciting part of his statement at a show. It's so nice to see him and the band standing up against this shitty government.
MCS have started playing a 20 second little tune they wrote called "Fuck ICE" and it goes: You little dick motherfuckers out there Carrying your guns 'cause your dicks don't work It's a prerequisite You little dick motherfuckers Waving your guns out there Because your dicks don't work It's a prerequisite
Man, this band is so good EVERY time. Was actually amazing hearing the new songs live. I am past the honeymoon phase with that album so I wasn’t sure how they’d hit, but they are great in a live setting. MCS just seem like they really love what they are doing and I truly hope they keep going forever.
Saw them the other night. I thought the new songs sounded awesome. I was bummed how little the crowd seemed to be into the new ones.
If anyone in the St. Paul / Minneapolis area wants 2 tickets to their February 14th show, lemme know. Times are tough financially so I gotta give them up. Also have the VIP Meet and Greet. DM me if interested.
Caught them on tour last night in Maryland. MCS was unreal, wholesome, and sounded energetic. Say anything (Max really) was the opposite of that…it sounded like painful karaoke. Sincere engineer was fantastic and fun too.
Yeah at this point I don’t know how much longer he’ll go before he has another full-blown breakdown. Dude is not well.
I stayed for 3 songs in Say Anything’s set and left. The band (and Fred especially) sounded good…max did not at all
We met the band before the show. My daughter got to talk to Tony for 3 solid minutes about drumming tonight. She’s over the fucking moon. The guys couldn’t have been nicer. Can’t wait for them to get on stage.
Truely a “core memory unlocked” experience for us both, but especially her. She and I go to a ton of shows together but this is the first time she’s really ever met an artist. And she’s a drummer so she asked Tony a question about how he does paradiddles on some of his fills, like in “Make-Out Kids,” which Matt and Jesse were just tickled by: The kind of shit they show on a Jumbotron before she plays in a band someday. Will never be able to thank you enough for making this happen.
I’m listening to this record for the first time in a while and it would be really hard to ask for a better comeback album. It’s just so good. It sounds like classic MCS with just a touch of what Justin was doing with his solo stuff.
