I built this vessel and it could capsize anytime Supporter

I’m going to take a lot of heat for this but Particle Physics is my least favorite track on the album

I don't think you'll take any heat, you like what you like.

I just don't trust your judgement from now on.

It's so MCS that it's crazy to me that people don't like it.

I didn't think, in the year of our Lord 2025, I'd put a MCS record in my Top 5 aoty list but I might end up doing it. I can't stop listening.

Because we made it so long without anyone comparing this to Weezer: the bridge in Downer is very Weezer.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

She Is Afraid is super Weezer-sounding to me

MCS channeled Weezer on Panic Stations with “Lose Control”

Yeah but we don't need to talk about that song

Your Days Are Numbered too good.

Keeps reminding me of Severance which arguably is one of their best songs. Would kill a full album of that sound.

  13. "Lose Control" is worse than a lot of modern Weezer songs tbh

I don’t hate Lose Control but it seems like a very lazy Weezer rip off.

HOT TAKE ALERT: Lose Control is the worst song on a very good album.

Personally, Panic Stations sounds like a band running out of stream to me. I was not surprised when they called it a day shortly after.

Half of that record is solid but songs like I Can Feel You, Lose Control, It’s a Pleasure to Meet You, Over It Now, and Days Will Run Away are very much forgettable and skippable.

Panic Stations really suffers from the fact that it’s the only album that Tony doesn’t play drums on.

What I know about PS is that the band deliberately wanted to release something loud and with more energy after they felt like Go was received poorly

Holy, I know a lot of people don’t care for Panic Stations but to say that I Can Feel You or Days Will Run Away are the bad songs on it is unhinged.
