discog run starts today. i've only heard i am the movie. loved their warped set yesterday. let's absolutely fucking go.
let's hear it for the boyssss popped on My Dinosaur Life for the first time in ages today. good record!
So happy to finally have a date/official announcement. Kind of love that it's coming out 10 years - almost to the day - since Panic Stations was released. Just hope I never have to wait 10 years for a MCS album again.
Those early records are so formative and important to me that it’s hard to imagine anything new coming anywhere near that. But I’m very excited regardless
cool news havent listened to this band in like 5 years but they were big for me in high school, gotta do a discog run soon myself. i like their slower songs so im cool with what ive heard so far about the direction lol
Excited for this! An aside, does anyone know when/why Justin stopped playing guitar live? Happened to catch their Warped stream this weekend and couldn't help but notice how uncomfortable he looked without his guitar. They sounded good, though!
Justin has had really bad sciatic issues for years. It has affected his ability to walk, and he used to have to use a cane (not sure if he still does). I'm guessing that's why.
Looks like they've uploaded the new single AND the full album (?) on YouTube but keeping everything unavailable/hidden for the time being, of course. She is Afraid Album playlist
TunnelBear is free. Believe it started for the AAR/NFG/TSL tour in summer 2023. Maybe a few shows before, but that summer for sure. As others said, it’s due to back issues, including at least one surgery, IIRC. He had a cane for awhile. I think this is the first time I’ve seen him not use the cane on stage, so that’s cool to see. Hopefully means healing is progressing well. I’m sure as soon as he is safely able to, he’ll play guitar again. I’m assuming that’s a goal for him, but obviously I don’t know all the details in his back health.
