Didn’t they confirm it a few months ago? The album’s done but they were waiting for the right time to have vinyl and a tour ready.
Most anticipated = pianos become the teeth and caracara on no devotion the Stu the bass player I think said in a podcast last year that the album is done so not sure why it’s taking so long to be released? Maybe they want to tour on it and with Thursday touring it hasn’t been possible to schedule (complete guess!)
I'm just thinking of new Caracara, which hasn't been mentioned (besides by @Mattww in the comments - hey, PBTT would be sweet too!), since they've just dropped a new single, and the previous one is one of the best songs ever ;d Also, Thrice is ready with the follow up to Horizons/East if I got that correctly! The Early November post videos from the studio as well, possibly reworking some older b-sides or spawning new material. Anthony Green has got like 3 albums almost finished too, so maybe something will see a release in 2022 (hoping for new TSOAF). And what's up with that possible new album from Alexisonfire in June?! Lots of things that have been hinted throughout the years, like Hidden In Plain View. Excited for Paramore to reunite of course. Though for what's already set in the calendar there's PUP, Dashboard Confessional, Camp Cope, Kevin Devine - all gems that won't disappoint for sure! SDRE reunited to tour some more - would love for them to release something new (if not even for the shelfed material back from their active days).
I think a new Green Day is coming this year too. With all the cryptic 1972 posts, I'm curious if that's the album title or a concept within the new record. Also they were all born that year so that's probably part of it.
Th too true I have had hyacinth in repeat since it dropped. I listen then immediately want to listen again - it’s so good
For sure woulda written about Caracara had I known they were dropping a record more than 24 hours ago haha, pretty sure I had them on our artists to watch list a few years back. Really can’t wait for that album, super jealous of those that have heard it!
If the new record could be on par with Elva and Here’s To The Mourning - I’ll be a happy ass dude. However, if it’s on par with Swan? Pass
Totally forgot about No Devotion coming out with a follow up - so hyped!! Aside from that, I’m stoked as hell for: The Devil Wears Prada Vein.FM Local Natives The Story So Far Turnover (Altogether is criminally underrated and it’s their best record.. I said what I said) Jesus Piece From Autumn To Ashes (yup - new music on the way) Lower Definition Ways Away Higher Power Paramore Arctic Monkeys (unless it’s another record in the vein of TBH+C)
Band of Horses - Things are Great Charlie Simpson - Hope Is a Drug Coheed and Cambria - Vaxis II Fireworks - Higher Lonely Power Charlie Puth - Charlie The Flatliners Matt Nathanson State Champs The Strokes Arctic Monkeys Weezer Avenged Sevenfold Noel Gallagher Paramore Bleachers City and Colour Muse Fall Out Boy Butch Walker Pulled Apart by Horses The Dangerous Summer Rod Wave The Early November
These are my wants/confirmed coming this year (Charlie at the top, obviously): Charlie Simpson Jimmy Eat World Meet Me @ the Altar Paramore Coheed & Cambria Noel Gallagher blink-182 Dashboard Confessional Avril Lavigne Weezer Taylor Swift William Ryan Key The Decemberists Death Cab For Cutie New Found Glory Andrew McMahon
