You can say whatever you want. The album isn’t out. What about that doesn’t make sense? It comes out in May, as you, yourself posted. Good grief. When a single comes out no one in their right mind says the album is out. This is no different.

Awesome. Cool. You’re all right. My apologies. Hayley’s album is amazing. But, one question.... Why aren’t we all able to listen to all the songs? Did I miss something. Oh yeah. They’re not all out yet. Because the album isn’t out yet. Because it’s doesn’t come out until May 8. The only thing that’s out is what they’re calling an EP. Not an album. An EP. Facts.
Man, I was only telling you that the EP was out because I thought you didn't know and I was trying to be helpful. I wasn't trying to win some battle nor did I know you were coming at that person in a negative way. It's still an EP on its own, lets argue if an EP is considered an album or not. That seems like it's been a hot topic in recent years. You were being pedantic because the previous poster used the word "album" rather than saying "have already released excellent music," which seems like it would have been the right choice so you didn't feel like making a comment. Let's just all enjoy music this year.
Cool. My bad. I was also trying to be helpful since some people might see the word “album” vs “EP” and get confused and go out looking for the full release. No one’s looking to be negative. It is what it is. If anyone’s negative it’s the other folks throwing around adjectives. But yeah. Cool tunes. And I’m looking forward to the rest.
For sure! I jumped on that preorder so fast! I’m surprised at the mixed reactions. I’m glad it’s not Paramore 2.0. But I also like a lot of things that her solo sound is playing off of.
Every Time I Die is also top of my list. Against Me!, Closure in Moscow, and Glass Animals if true would also be instant buys.

The new album release thread every Friday morning is like Christmas mornin’, listing off what’s on my release radar and coming back throughout the day to see other recommendations. Any Chorus.fm members got new stuff coming out from their bands? Seems we’ve had a bunch already this year, and they’re all pretty damn good. This place has proven to be a hotbed for exciting new bands lately!
I agree, so many members are in killer bands. My band recently released out first song and have two more singles coming out in the Spring, followed by an EP later in the year.
I think Glass Animals is aiming for June. The tour stated you'd get a copy of their third LP with a ticket purchase, and then their Red Rocks show with Denzel Curry was announced for June 16th and they stated, "This is a special one... (for reasons that will be made clear soon)"
Hope that Grouplove album is better than the recent shit they've released. Fingers crossed for Weatherbox
I discovered bright eyes on this site in 2002, 18 years ago. They were a staple of the previous site, and it’s just disappointing not to see them on this list, especially for how big they are and how excited people are about their reunion. Oh yeah, and Rihanna sucks.
