It has to be Manchester orchestra. I want to be excited for brand new as well, but we all know how that usually turns out.
Looking forward to new Paramore, Now Now, Paramore, Alt-J, Paramore, Chvrches, Paramore, Lydia, Paramore, Foster The People.........and Paramore. Also, I was heavily anticipating that new XX album that was released in January and it did not disappoint me.
Nope, not yet, but they were posting studio pics all throughout 2016 and they have a couple of summer dates lined up.
Wait, Julien Baker has 12 officially released songs? I count 10 - the nine on 'Sprained Ankle' and 'Funeral Pyre.' What 2 Julien Baker songs am I missing!?
Maybe—just maybe—we'll get that third Now, Now album this year. Also it's been almost 4 years since the last Tigers Jaw so I'm hoping we'll have a new LP soon?
before this was out Jade played it acoustic with the Hotelier, immediately needed more. it's one hell of an album.
YES. One of the only bands from that scene that I've maintained interest in. Their new single sounds a lot like the old record, but I'm thinkin' it's gonna have a lot of very different sounding tracks on it. They usually shake their sound up a good bit each album release.
Bleachers and Paramore would have to top my list. Just started listening to Fleet Foxes last month and it was instant love, so I'm really excited for that. Hoping for new Front Bottoms. Of course Brand New I'm excited for, but won't hold my breath for it to happen. At this point it seems more likely they release that in 2018 and do a farewell tour around it. No idea what Nate Ruess has been up to the last year, but hopefully somethings on the horizon. The Menzingers album is already shaping up to be a banger. Love the Father John Misty songs released so far. Joey Bada$$, Sorority Noise, the Maine. The rest of these John Mayer eps or album parts or whatever it is. Honestly so much to look forward to.
Julien Baker and The National are my most anticipated for sure. If that Carly Rae Jepsen album comes together by the end of the year, that one will be up there, too, in spite of getting basically two albums of material these past two years, lol. Always down for new Lecrae. Interested in what Linkin Park does after The Hunting Party. If Brand New miraculously actually gets a new album out this year, that'd be rad. Overall, I'm pretty passive anymore with new music, so I'm sure some cool new stuff will sneak up on me.
Brand New Manchester Orchestra Sorority Noise Mallory Knox Foo Fighters (?) Chvrches The Front Bottoms Bleachers Royal Blood The Wonder Years/Aaron West (I hope) Bring Me The Horizon Chance (very big question mark) Foxing Julien Baker Marmozets QOTSA Wolf Alice
