This was the most okay thing I've seen in a while. Every single part of it was exceedingly and positively... okay

 

Just realized where I knew sonya blade from....she was the female lead in the USA show "Sirens" that ran for a couple seasons lol

 

I had never seen her in anything before but I think it was a solid casting. Wish the Kano conflict held more weight to it, cause they make her out to be just sort of there and and her big storyline was getting the marking which was really dumb and simplifying of the best female character the franchise has, next to Kitana.

 

Disrespectful to my girl Sheeva

 

lol I like Sheeva as a fighter in the games!

 

just saw an hbomax commercial that heavily featured this and, i was very upset to be reminded that it exists.

It was a fun movie. Anyone who doesn't have fun watching it is clearly working for Shao Khan.

Mortal Kombat = Godzilla vs. Kong < most Marvel movies but > most DC movies

The Richter scale of fun.

 

I had fun on a rewatch but I definitely think the franchise needs/deserved a better writer for sure.

That writer should be me. I want the role. Give me the role.

It wasn't bad; pretty brutal/graphic at times, haha. Story basically covers how the tournament begins, the tournament itself, and features pretty much all the biggest/most well-known characters from the games

 

This is awesome. You literally here him come up with it on the spot lol

 

That was honestly so cool to watch. Those must’ve been long days for the actors playing the characters haha.

The first one definitely shows that there's potential in a sequel. Pumped that we'll presumably get the actual tournament too.
