Why do all of these people mug for the camera during their entire video about a review of a visual piece of art?

 

Holy. Fuck. Two of my favorite properties brought together for a moment of pure bliss.

Yep, pretty much got what I wanted out of this. Fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Bring on the next one.

 

I only know who Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Raiden are...so I’m going into this movie with zero prior knowledge and expectations.

 

Loved the beginning and the end and thought most of the middle was wack.

 

I really think it would’ve helped if this film were half an hour longer. I felt they did a great job with pacing until a little over halfway through, and the rest was rushed.

Fun movie overall, though. Looking forward to a sequel.

It does feel more like MK than the 95 iteration but those characters were far less wooden and had far more chemistry than this lot. I think a few more engaging characters helps negate some of the pacing issues.

 

I’d gladly take a prequel of Kabal and Kano talking shit to each other for an hour and a half.

 

I didn’t know anything about kabal beyond his look so it was taken back by that haha

 

Jonny is not the character that is going to come in and make this much better btw

 

I hope they take all the criticisms of this film and try to attempt at least to address them for the sequel

 

Even though there’s some glaring faults this should do more than well enough to warrant multiple films.

 

It’ll be interesting to see if they get someone big to play him. It seems that’s what they were holding out for
