One minute I’m sold on Reiko and the next I hate it lmao

 

Getting more and more excited for this the closer it gets

 

He’s 100% a cannon fodder character needed for a fatality. The least popular one used for the movie by far and I can’t wait to see that head smash.

 

I’m excited for it. I’m not excited for the 50000 looks at what seems like Kabals end.

 

Yeah, a little bummed to see that in the trailers, but what I do like is that they’ve kept his abilities a secret for now. If he only has his hookswords and outfit I’ll be slightly let down. Cause I kinda am thinking to myself why doesn’t he just use his run to escape Liu’s fire dragon? Maybe we’re not seeing the after shot?

 

This and GvK are exactly the types of movies I want out of a service like HBO Max, wouldn’t have been super interested in this otherwise

 

I find myself on HBO more than any other streaming service so it worked out well for me. Love that I get to see this as much as I want for a month.

 

I originally was excited to watch more of the “criterion channel” type movies that were on the service but finding the more social aspects of the new films to be fun, especially now. My friends and I haven’t stopped talking about GvK

 

This movie is going to own GvK brooooo

 

If so I’m pumped, more fight scenes for sure lol

Was digging around and dealing with some rough translation but

again. Gigantic. Uber. Spoilers

it seems the early leak was pretty spot on. someone at the showing claiming that Cole is related to scorpion, spends the whole movie not understanding his usefulness until he runs into Goro. Someone or something? threatens his daughter. Coles eyes go white, “get over here” and spears Goros heart out. I’m not sure if this is before or after the Scorpion/Sub-Zero fight.

Cole kills Goro, Shang Tsung calls the battle a win for outworld due to Coles lineage and since he killed the champion.

Nitara supposedly looks fucking insane. Said Kitara and Kabal have the best looks in the movie.

R rating is pushed super hard because of the gore.

 

I'm fairly confident this is going to be terrible, i just hope it's fun.
