I've got to say this new song is hitting hard right now, particularly "The news contrives to frighten you." They spread terror more than any individual terrorist. Currently they are telling us in Chicago that the Vegas gunman had a hotel reservation during Lollapalooza. I don't see why that's information the public needs to know.

 

Yeah the whole chorus is something of a mantra for me at the moment.

 

Ayyyy. I really enjoy this song it must be said.

 

I'm a fan of this song too. Pretty excited for this album at this point. Hope the whole thing is as good as these first two.

 

Years of Refusal is seriously dope shit. I pretty much listen to that and Viva Hate as far as the solo stuff goes

the last one did not stick with me at all, might need to revisit. "I'm Not a Man" is so bad to me though.

This was pretty good! Really enjoyed the first half. "I Bury the Living" is fucking nuts. Started to get lose me with "The Girl From Tel-Aviv Who Wouldn't Kneel," but the last two tracks pulled me back in.

Are you kidding me? Yea let's blame the 14 year old boy because hey this is just what has always happened. Listened to the album yesterday and I really liked it but this kind of thing just makes it so hard to want to listen to him. Sometimes I try to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that he just doesn't always express himself the right way but it's pretty clear what he's saying here.

 

Again, disappointing but ultimately unsurprising. My brother and I just went out and bought copies of this together before coming home and seeing this garbage. Hope he at least walks it back (or apologizes, which will never happen) in his next interview, but at this point, I think I'm fine just listening to his music/never purchasing another new album from him.
