Track 10 sounds like a MAKEOUT song title.

I'm so excited for this record. His delivery of the lyrics(and the lyrics themselves) are so reminiscent of the Smiths!

oh of course! The Smiths have a fantastic back catalog of like 74ish songs and then Morrissey has some pretty stellar solo albums. his 90s run is pretty bad but after that hes really found his footing

He's been on a roll since You Are The Quarry. Even though his 90's run is his worst run, I do really enjoy Vauxhall and I! "Speedway" is a top 10 Morrissey song for me

Yeah Vauxhall and Viva Hate are probably his best work pre-Quarry and ofc Bona Drag

Hey I just said it's his worst run, which it is. Only because his other runs are so incredible. Your Arsenal is good, but it's definitely a bottom half Morrissey record for me.

  20. My top 5 Morrissey solo records are Your Arsenal, Viva Hate, Vauxhall, Years of Refusal and World Peace. Still havent listened to Maladjusted or Ringleaders.

the fucking riffs on Your Arsenal are unreal

You haven't heard Ringleaders? @Jason Tate gave it like a 99 review on AbsolutePunk.

  23. Hah, it never really clicked with me the way Your Arsenal did. It's good and I listen to it anytime I'm rolling through his solo records, but for the most part it just sounds like a typical post-2000 Morrissey record to me (which is fine) while Your Arsenal's songwriting really sets it apart from the rest of his discography. Some of those songs are the heaviest he's worked on ("Glamorous Glue" is pure rock 'n roll, "You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side" verges on surf-rock) and others are the closest to new Smiths songs we ever got ("Certain People I Know," "We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful")

Anyone know the presale code for the tour? I know there was the one that came with the vinyl, but my venue's website said there was a general pre-sale today (specifically said non-vinyl), I just can't figure out where to get the code from.

    ^Well you're all useless.

Anyway, the real reason I came here was just to say I love this song more every time I listen to it. Can't wait to get more from this album. I'm thirstin'
