Yeah it totally does feel like he's phoning it in lyrically, the emotion of their first record and half of their second just doesn't seem to be there.

 

They clearly need to spend more time writing their songs instead of rushing out an album every 18 months

 

I definitely think this is it. I'd rather wait until the end of the year so we can get something like their first album.

 

I actually dig the latest song, gives me some Matt Skiba vibes

 

can't imagine why anyone would want to listen to this band in 2018 (and especially after that garbage-fire statement), but don't finance sexual predators/predator enablers and just torrent the album instead if you want to listen to it. neither Moose Blood nor Hopeless Records deserve a fucking cent. I hope MB take a massive financial hit and the album tanks. Shitheads. Ideally this is the last record they make.

 

Why would anyone want to listen to this Friday when Nervus have an album out the same day.

This is actually very good but I refuse to pay them a cent until this whole allegation is properly cleared up and we either get an apology or it’s rescinded.

 

Well one thing other thing you can do is not stream the album.

Also I wouldn’t hold your breath for an apology, they’re bringing a baseless lawsuit to bully the accuser into silence after all. And the allegation is not getting rescinded because it’s more than likely true.

 

Went to see The Dangerous Summer last night and these guys headlined. I'm gonna be the bearer of bad news here, but they packed out a 2.5k venue and everyone went legit nuts for them. I don't think it is affecting their career in any way.

 

saw them once back in like 2014 and holy fuck they were the most boring live band

Yeah they were. Hostage Calm breaking up suddenly still makes me sad
