Doesn't that make them blur together? I don't think I have ever watched two movies back to back in a theater. I am at the bar waiting for the movie to start. I am ready for a 2016 film to elevate an underwhelming year so far.
i do it quite often. typically i see two movies of different styles, to avoid that exact thing. so maybe it's actually good that there are a few days before loving comes here
I don't do it so much these days since I live right in Toronto. But I used to do it all the time when I travelled into the city to see movies. Also a somewhat necessary practice when it comes to festivals.
I want to see this again soon. The scene in the car is incredible. I've been listening to the screwed and chopped version of Classic Man almost every day since.
The scene where Black-era Chiron changes from the posturing dealer to the shy kid from his youth when he's talking to Kevin on the phone is incredible.
Got some love from the National Board of Review. Hopefully it does some awards damage and more people go see it.
In fact winning director at the NBR has been more or less a kiss of death for your Oscar nom chances of late.
Moonlight Director Barry Jenkins Thought He’d Fled His Past, Then He Accidentally Made a Movie About It
Soooo glad my school showed this at its theater tonight. Jeez the emotions during this entire thing had me a wreck the whole time
