I loved it. Saw them play Smash at Riot. Americana at Rockfest. Ixnay would be amazing for me personally. They still always throw in a couple songs.
I really want to go just to see Ixnay. That's my all-time favorite album. But I don't really want to camp and lodging/transportation seems like hell. . Hopefully they do Ixnay shows elsewhere, too.
Reverend Horton Heat are playing on the 24th according to their website. In June their playing with Agent Orange and Flat Duo Jets, so their a possibility to play too.
Rammstein is a really cool festival headliner I always manage to miss so I might need to check this out. Definitely happy about The Offspring announcement too, saw the do Smash at Heavy Montreal and it was a great set.
I wasn't aware they played Smash at Heavy Montreal. These are the only full album shows I am aware of that they've done. The Offspring - Americana - 06/19/2014 - Montebello, QC @ Amnesia Rockfest The Offspring - Smash - 08/09/2014 - Montreal, QC @ Heavy Montreal - 09/12/2015 - Chicago, IL @ Riot Fest
It was one of the better festival days I've been to. Metallica was on the next stage directly after them. For reference: The Offspring Setlist at Heavy MTL 2014
I saw that. It looks like it was a part of their Smash tour with Bad Religion, Pennywise, and The Vandals.
THANK YOU for your FIRED UP reaction following our two Xmas surprises! We already sold more tickets to this date than we had in April for the last edition, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And this is only the beginning, there's still 128 bands to be announced in early 2017!
At The Drive In announced make up shows for the tour they missed. Have a feeling they will play this year since they cancelled last year.
So we think Rammstein is a headliner? Seems a bit early to announce a headliner for either of the nights. I could see Rammstein playing main stage right before Metallica or Avenged Sevenfold.
I definitely think they are a headliner. Their live show is insane. I don't see how a band play after them.
Metallica is the only band I could see playing after. But they have to be a headliner. Would be stupid not to be.
I don't think Rammstein could be anything but a headliner. I don't think they were anything but the headliner for at least the last 10 years.
Gotta be a headliner. Keeping that in mind they could "headline" the other main stage like BMTH and Puscifer did last year.
There is 0.0% chance they don't headline the main stage. They already said due to Rammstein they have sold more tickets than when the entire lineup was announced last year.
Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Smash Mouth
German industrial really never did it for me. Hopefully they headline the Saturday, I'm usually too spent for the night two headliner anyway
