The show is for free and it's probably a warmup for a tour announcement. This band will 100% release new music in 2017.
Wish I could make it to that show. Depending on the price I may pick the record up. Hoping a tour follows.
They said the record is limited to 300 and will be sold at the show first, any after will be available at the Dine Alone Webstore. I can guarantee you the boxset will sell out at the show. Already almost 200 people are attending via the Facebook show post.
I wonder how much this is going for. It includes a ton of stuff and is so limited so it's probably quite high. Like $80-$90 high.
Seriously. So pretty much if you don't live in Toronto, you're fucked. I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell out at the show and not even have a chance to make it online. How shitty would that be?
So they now have a total of 4 shows. The box set is out of 300. So 75/per night. No way any of these will be left to sell online. If anyone is going to one of the shows and wouldn't mind picking me up a copy, please let me know.
Once upon a time, Moneen toured extensively with Choke, another Canadian band, label mates (smallman), at the time. They would interchange members, play each other's songs, and was dubbed "Choneen". A Choneen show was a sight to behold!

Kenny is such an awesome person. Thanks for posting the link. Such a nice honest read. Really looking forward to a Br/dges full length. I know the days of Moneen recording and touring as a full time band are past for now, but I do hope they continue to do things like these shows and stuff like the cover split they did with Moving Mountains. An important band for a lot people and the best live show I've ever attended (Kenny jumped so high of Hippy's amp he broke the ceiling tiles).
A full length BR/DGES record would be great. Loved that single he released. And yeah, that split with Moving Mountains was pretty great. The Red Tree is a top ten record for me. Can't begin to convey how important that record was and is to me.
