yeah it was kinda clunky. I had to think about that for a sec once I saw the monster come up, but as soon as the other characters fell through I knew she'd still be alive, no chance they kill her off with that.
This ended pretty strong. While some of the middle episodes dragged, I’m satisfied with the beginning and ending
Fantastic finale. That ending caught me by surprise and I really enjoyed it. There were a couple flashback episodes in the middle of the season I feel were boring, but over all this was a fun S1.
Really enjoyed this. Wasn’t sure about the prior episode ending at the time - but I think they handled it very well in the finale. Hoping for a season 2. It’s not perfect but I do enjoy this Monsterverse quite a bit.
Glad to see they were able to stick the landing after a few rough spots. Felt like it should've been a bit longer but happy with the quality of what we got. Finally a satisfying kaiju fight. They really need to up the kaiju involvement if there is a season 2.
If time doesn't really move where the monsters come from then maybe they are some kind of prehistoric creatures that somehow got there?
was in the mood for some monster stuff tonight so I watched a few episodes of this. entertaining but man the quality gap between the 50s stuff and the present is wild, why can't the whole show be Wyatt Russell punching monsters
hate that this show kills Keiko in the first episode, she's the best character in the whole thing by far. Randa really gets on my nerves but other than that the 50s stuff is so much better still
I'm all for developing the human-side plot of Kaiju films (and shows), but just thinking about them making more shows with a human plot like in Monarch feels exhausting.
