Yeah, the shows since the pandemic have been the best the band has sounded since I started seeing them in 2008. A lot tighter and fewer equipment issues, and I think Isaac's approach has been more of a really intentional "people are coming to these concerts and I need to make sure the show is good."
Temple Live Cleveland Masonic. It's a 100+ year old building in Cleveland that largely went unused for years and years and then Beaty Capital Group bought it and put millions of dollars worth of renovations into it and within the last few years, more shows have been popping up there. Despite the renovations, the building is still a piece of shit. There's not really a bad seat in the venue, but sound is terrible and it's in a real shady part of town, a good 30 blocks east of downtown Cleveland and there's really no parking whatsoever so you're walking through very sketchy areas. Different type of show, but Anthony Jeselnik called it the worst venue he's ever performed at.
Well they’re playing down the street from me so I guess I gotta go! Only time I’ve seen them was opening for Weezer in 2023 and I was expecting the worst based on what I’ve heard about them live but they were totally locked in and it was great
I’ve seen them twice, once was really bad at a festival and once was headlining around when Strangers came out and it was great. I’m sure this 50% ratio will help someone.
They have only toured here twice. First time I was overseas and my brother bought me a shirt that was too small but I wore it anyway. Second time we went together but I didnt love the shirts available.
Seen them probably 8+ times (every Dallas show except for 1 or 2 since Good News came out) and they've been great all but once.
Seen them around 6 times I think and have had a few bad shows but the latest few I went to have been excellent
Gave The Golden Casket another try this weekend. Still how I remember it. All over the place and my least favorite in their catalog. I tried guys!
I know it's for a good cause and all but my broke ass really wishes you could just buy the individual song not the whole thing lol
Apologies for the no news bump My wife and I do this thing where we sing the opening lines of “The Ground Walks” whenever we open the window in our house or car. Since it’s getting warmer, we’ve been picking it back up again lol. Good way to constantly have it stuck in my head.
