Boy do I love "Wooden Soldiers"

 

It’s great. The closer has grown on me a lot too

 

The instrumentals in the closer remind me of smashing pumpkins in their prime

 

They’re a philly band and they’re fine. Personally certain MM could’ve gone with a more interesting act but the districts are undoubtedly having a moment

This is the first Modest Mouse album I've listened to - I liked it a lot!

Seems like the vinyl is being delayed. Originally had an expected ship date of Aug. 7. Now it says Aug. 25.

 

They sounded fucking awesome tonight and closed with spitting venom which is in my top 10 modest mouse songs.

Yeah I got an email a few months ago that it was delayed but it’s like a month past that date.

 

Got mine yesterday. Ordered the signed deluxe. The signed copy is an extra case.

 

I think the colored one is delayed, which is what I have

 

Interesting, I probably did not need to order one of each then

 

I only ordered the signed deluxe because for whatever reason, they priced it the exact same as the non-signed deluxe, LOL.

 

I just knew I would want to frame the signed copy, but if it's an extra jacket, it looks like I'll have an extra copy of the deluxe version to unload haha
