That Shadows thing he mentioned sounds like a compilation like Building Nothing since they seem to be mostly done songs so better chance of actually seeing that than if he promised a completely new record

    Well, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy

    Just business as usual

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah the Shadows thing sounds more like a No One's First style collection of b-sides, I'm interested. remember reading somewhere they had a bunch of fully mixed STO outtakes floating around

I am pretty sure some of those unreleased STO era songs are streaming on their fan club thing. I know the krist noveselic song is

Yea same because nearly all of them are about dying so that description doesn’t narrow it down

  8. Maybe I should join the fan club for a month or whatever so I can hear what's on there. Always wanted to hear the Big Boi collab lol

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I wonder if they'd put "Poison The Well," "I'm Still Here," and "Ice Cream Party" on a hypothetical b-sides release.

  11. Very cool and weird and dark record, definitely the night to The Golden Casket's day. A lot of it sounds like bits of pieces of their catalog, everything from TLCW through Good News fed through the glitchy, cluttered pop filter of the last record. Some people are going to love how aggressively electronic the back half is and others are not going to fuck with it lol.

"Remember Yourself" is beautiful, "Life's a Dream is massive (very Moon & Antarctica-adjacent), and "Speak n' Spell" should've been a single. The guitars on that one are so hooky.

That first sentence you wrote and the singles sold me on it.

Well, surprised to hear myself say this but this is their best album since We Were Dead. Need to listen more to know exactly where I'd rank it but several tracks really surprised me.
