I heard Metallica felt bad they couldn't go on a world tour together so they are opening up the last night.

apparently they did all of sports tonight

 

They also did Your Graduation three times in a row

 

I hope this is just a 3 or 4 year break and they come back at some point. If not they had a nice little run and went out on their best album

 

going to the last show tonight. probably going to regret it in the morning when I'm waking up at 6:00am, but I'm stoked. super excited that their sets have been changing up a lot too. no idea what to expect.

 

Seeing these setlists has stung a little. I'm gonna miss this band a lot.

 

I know their whole discog is far from loved here, but personally I've been in love with these folks ever since Sports. I hold their entire discog very close to my heart. They will be missed

 

I like about 5-6 songs from this band but I like them enough to search out youtube videos of them playing the songs every month or so

 

Just wanted to that getting to see my friends on that stage on Friday was wonderful, but the Saturday show was probably the best show I’ve been to all year

 

Shows looked like a great time. Really wish I could have made it out

I really hope they come back in a few years

 

Every indication seems like they'll be back when they feel the time is right. Ian and Jake are working together on Slaughter Beach, Dog, Bren just did a solo tour, and (based on photos I've seen) they seemed like best friends having fun on stage in Philly. I don't think there are any hard feelings involved, just a lot of pent up anxiety stemming from the fact that they blew up and toured non-stop from the time they were teenagers without taking a break.

 

The way they phrased the Modern Baseball part makes me think they’re done.

 

I honestly think they will be back. Give it a year or two.

 

I think so but it was just he phrasing in this post that unofficially they told everyone close to them they’re done but know if they all get in the right mindset again it could be a thing.

 

Damn the footage in that video RFC put up just made me miss them even more. What a fucking fantastic band these guys are/were.

 

I miss these guys. Holy Ghost has been hitting me real hard as of late.
