Just like any MoBo release, I didn't like it at first and now that I've gotten to know it a little better with repeated listens... I'm in love. It's still not as dynamic as YGMIA, nor is it long enough, but this is a great record. Combining it with the Perfect Cast EP could be a cool listening experience too.
I am very pleasantly surprised by this album - to the point where it is one of my favorite releases of the year. Previously I'd only really liked "Your Graduation" by the band, but this album really caught me off guard. I think "Just Another Face" is the best song they've ever written.
I had never listened to The Perfect Cast EP before hearing this album and I actually really like it too. It really paved the direction for this one.
